JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop a "trusted advisor" relationship with facility owners and managers. Identify and cultivate new business as well as support existing accounts. Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to proposal. Develop project scope of work, cost estimate and solution proposals. Provide Sales support to Operations teams during project implementation. Maximizes account penetration of assigned accounts by serving the full spectrum of needs of the accounts with the full spectrum of the Building Systems offering, including controls, HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical, and equipment replacements. Work with minimal supervision in promoting the firm's products and services. Be a self-starter with effective time management skills. Maintain timely sales prospects and opportunity pipeline data. Utilizes applicable sales tools effectively (SMIS, Account Management, Account Plan, TAS and CRM) to plan and document progress as well as increase penetration of accounts. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business or related discipline required. A minimum of 5 years of automation sales and business development experience. Demonstrated high-level competencies in: customer relations, sales, and strategic business development. Progressive field sales experience. Ability to coordinate work with diverse inter-company teams. Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels. Possess excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills. Technical understanding of building automation system components and architectures including: temperature/pressure controls, I/F to mechanical systems, lighting, VFD's, power monitoring, knowledge of IT networks, etc. Experience with Tridium AX product line.
